On the third stop of their full US tour, Turnover delivered a set that showcased both where they’ve been and where they’re headed. Following the release of their first fully independent full-length record Down on Earth the band struck a balance between nostalgia and evolution. Arriving a decade after the beloved Peripheral Vision, the new record reflects a band unafraid to grow while remaining grounded. The set gave longtime fans and newer listeners plenty to connect with.
Opening the night with she’s green brought a wave of dream-pop that captivated the crowed with ethereal vocals. Their atmospheric sound offered something rarely heard in the Midwest music scene. By the end of their set, they had done more than warm up the room, they left a lasting impression.

Narrowhead turned the volume all the way up for their set. Their sound combines heavy ’90’s style guitar riffs with dreamy, melodic pop vocals. Their performance served as the perfect bridge between she’s green’s hazy dream-pop and Turnover’s expansive headlining set.

Headlining the night, Turnover captivated Albany, NY with a 15 song set that brought the room on a journey through different eras of the band’s career. As the final song came to a close and the lights came up, it was clear why they’ve remained such a lasting presence in the scene.
