Sunday, August 23rd brought Door Daze to its final night at Unicorn Bar in Kingston, NY, closing out the festival with a full femme-fronted bill.

Mona Freaka eased the room into the evening, warming up the crowd while simultaneously catching the attention of bar-goers who hadn’t necessarily walked in expecting to see a show. Their set slowly transformed the room from a night at the bar into the final night of a festival.

Tiny Blue Ghost followed, casting a dreamy spell over the room with their instrumentals. Their set felt almost magical—a moment to slow down and get lost in the atmosphere before the energy inevitably rose again.

Finally, Cellmate took the stage and ramped everything back up, pulling out whatever energy the crowd had left for one last push. After four days of music, movement, new discoveries, and familiar faces, they gave everyone a reason to leave it all on the floor one final time.

And just like that, Door Daze came to an end. Four days, countless artists, and a community showing up again and again for each other. The fest may be over, but the community that made it happen is still here—and that’s really what Door Daze was celebrating all along.
