The Brothers Set To Celebrate the Allman Brothers Band 50th Anniversary at Madison Square Garden in March

On March 10th, the 50th anniversary of the Allman Brothers Band will be celebrated at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY. Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, Allman Brothers founding drummer Jaimoe, Oteil Burbridge, Marc Quinones, Reese Wynans and Duane Trucks(Widespread Panic) will be taking the stage as The Brothers. A few years back, the world lost Greg Allman and Butch Trucks and the last time the Allman Brothers Band performed was at the Beacon Theatre in New York, NY in 2014. Chuck Leavell formerly of the Allman Brothers is slated to play a few songs during the celebration. According to Rolling Stone Magazine, Guitarist Dickey Betts was asked to perform with The Brothers but according to his manager, Betts “had prior commitments that prevented him from attending.” Tickets go on sale to the general public via ticketmaster on January 10th.
