Tony Hawk joined the YouTube channel GQ Sports to watch and comment on skateboarding in different movies over the years. He went over movies like Grind, Back to the Future, Gleaming the Cube, Mid90s, Daddy’s Home and more. From stance switching, cut shots to different tricks, and simply impossible tricks, Tony calls it out and always has a really good explanation as to why the shots are the way they are. And with his long professional career in skateboarding, he’s either starred in or been offered rolls in many of the movies he reviews. It’s really unique to get a skaters perspective of how skating is portrayed in movies whose also been in the movies himself.
