Proctor’s theater of Schenectady, NY was roaring with excitement and energy for the Led Zeppelin tribute band Get The Led Out. The audience came ready to celebrate the music, and the band delivered many of the classics people love. They kicked off the night with powerful versions of “Immigrant Song,” “Good Times Bad Times,” and “Since I’ve Been Loving You.” Then later on, they led the crowd into the clouds with “Stairway to Heaven” before finally bringing everyone back to Earth with “Whole Lotta Love.”

One thing I particularly enjoyed was seeing the variety of instruments on stage. The harmonica and mandolin added a great touch to songs like “Going to California” and “Nobody’s Fault But Mine,” and helped show how much range there is in Zeppelin’s music that I hadn’t fully appreciated prior.

I never had the chance to see the real Led Zeppelin perform live, but hearing their songs brought to life like this felt special and reminded me how powerful their music continues to be to this day.
