On Friday, Two of the best bands to come out of the Capital Region in a long time took over the stage at Ophelia’s in Albany, NY. And that would be Kale and the Ky McClinton Band.

Ky and his act while they write originals, they played a full cover set and completely elevated each song. The power behind his guitar along with the synchronized singing with his saxaphone player is what made the set stand out.

Kale took the stage following Ky’s set throwing a complete party. If you were hungover from this concert leading into parade day in Albany, NY on Saturday, I can totally understand why. Kale has what it takes to go to the next level. Incredible originals, upbeat music and a great selection of covers.
