Summertime in Upstate New York is truly special. The long winter months make you appreciate and be grateful for the warm weather when it finally arrives. This time of year also brings back fond memories from my childhood, like ice cream trucks, bike rides, and, of course, summer camp. For those lucky enough to attend, camp is an unforgettable, formative experience. Few summer camps in the area are as special and beautiful as YMCA Camp Chingachgook. Nestled on the shore of Lake George, Camp Chingachgook offers a safe and ideal environment for children to learn, grow and immerse themselves in nature.

Next Friday, January 10th, you have the chance to join YMCA Camp Chingachgook & friends for a special night of music and community at the Hollow Bar + Kitchen. All proceeds from The Camp Rocks Benefit Concert will go directly toward funding summer camp scholarships. The doors will open at 7:00 PM, and tickets are available now for $20 ($25 at the door while supplies last). Bella Sano will kick off the evening, followed by The E-Block at 9:00 PM.
