LaMP played a top-notch headlining set at Lark Hall in Albany, NY over the weekend filling the room with hundreds of people. Kicking off the night was local funk act Oobleck who got the fun going early. The five piece band hailing from the Capital Region has had a great year of shows including a performance at Tulip Festival in Washington Park back in May.

The last time LaMP played Lark Hall was back in March of 2023 and since then have gotten tighter as a band. These guys are no strangers being able to control a crowd with years Scott Metzer’s years of experience with Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and plenty more. Let’s not forget about Russ Lawton and Ray Paczkowski’s powerful groove duo Soule Monde and of course the Trey Anastasio Band. With wealth of time on stage collectively, LaMP is easily one of the more fun and refreshing acts on the jam circuit.
