The party in Albany, NY this weekend started early on Thursday night with The Magic Beans and Squeaky Feet coming into Lark Hall. The next 3 days will be a jam filled time with Phish playing the MVP Arena.
Squeaky Feet brought heaviness and technicality early on with many people in the room comparing them to Umphrey’s McGee. Personally I thought they had more thrash/speed metal elements in their sound with fast ripping solos and a tight knit groove.
Magic Beans did what they did best by providing disco esque grooves and standard jams. They always give jam fans in Albany, NY a good time and they delivered yet again!
