The 2024 Albany Riverfront Jazz Festival took place at Jennings Landing in Albany, NY over the weekend featuring multiple acts displaying diversity within the genre. The day of music featured Bright Dog Red, Melanie Charles, Snacktime, Matthrew Whitmaker and Nate Smith. Closing out the music, the City of Albany, NY had an incredible fireworks display from Santore’s World Famous Fireworks.

The City also gave out their 7th annual Henry Johnson award to Jamil Hood Sr. The award is given to an Albany resident nominated by their peers who have made meaningful contributions to the community.
