In our latest gear review video, Frankie Cavone takes a look at the Panasonic Lumix G 25mm f/1.7 ASPH lens and gives his thoughts on why it is a great buy for all micro four-thirds users. The lens is at a cheaper price point making it a great addition if all you have is a kit lens.
For those who didn’t know, micro four-thirds cameras can accept any camera manufacturers lenses as long as it is a micro four-thirds cameras. So if you own an Olympus camera, the Panasonic 25mm f/1.7 prime lens will work for you!
One of the biggest reasons to pick up this lens is the fact that it can reach a low aperture of f/1.7. It is not easy achieving bokeh on this type of camera system but with this lens, you will be able to blow out that background when it comes to photography and videography. Another nice thing about the Panasonic 25mm f/1.7 is that it is light and compact. This is great for travel and street photography and will save room in the camera bag.
