Just like that, the Alive at 5 concert series hosted by the city of Albany, NY has came and went. To close out the concert series, New Orleans legends Galactic and rising jam act Hilltop took the stage for funk night. The night was co-sponsored by New York State Music and WEQX 102.7. Folks showed up early for Hilltop and they delivered quite the remarkable set. The night wasn’t over for them as they performed an after party set at Ophelia’s on Broadway.

Galactic’s set was fun and kept people dancing all evening long. The band welcomed on Glen David Andrews for a song who also had an after party set at Lost and Found down the road. We want to thank the City of Albany, NY for yet another incredible summer season of music and can’t wait to do it all again next year.
