Joe Barna’s Sketches of Influence has had several players rotate in and out of the band depending on the sound desired and availability of the musicians. This version had last played together 4 years ago. They recorded an album in North Carolina before the pandemic shut live performances down.The album has just been released now. Titled “The Heights” is available for download and streaming on Spotify and Apple Music .The title is referring to Morningside Heights in NYC, the neighborhood Joe had lived at one time before settling down back in his native Troy. The band members are both local and from NYC.
