On Saturday, March 4th, Sugar Productions made history — they put on the first-ever live show in the middle of the Van Gogh 3D immersive exhibit currently on display in downtown Schenectady, NY. Hundreds of us got to listen to an amazing live set by upstate’s own Gratefully Yours, a Grateful Dead cover band.
It was an experience none of us will ever forget. We got to watch a concert in the center of a live painting. It was an entirely unique experience, unlike anything we had ever seen before. Watching Van Gogh’s work come to life while listening to your favorite music is an activity that I highly recommend if you ever get the chance.
If you missed this session, don’t worry. Sugar Productions plans to have a silent disco at the same location soon — keep your eyes on your socials for the announcements coming soon.
