Live Nation has yet again given the stiff middle finger to all fans of live entertainment by reporting record profits in its 2022 summer quarterly earning all while the prices for tickets continue to spike. The total revenue reported was $6.2 billion which is up 63%. Operating incomes have also spiked up 95% for a total of $506 million. Numerous attempts have been made to help change the way Live Nation handles their ticketing fees including an announced effort by president Joe Biden to “crack down” these unnecessary fees.
With these continuous rise in ticket fees, events running thorough Live Nation could see attendance drops or even complete demographics not be able to afford to attend.
