Baked Shrimp and Glass Pony took the stage at The Hollow in Albany, NY for a Halloween extravaganza. The room was filled with fans dressed up in creative costumes and in tune with the music all night.
Headliners Baked Shrimp took the theme of Spinal Tap and performing the mystical band’s music to a T. The Long Island based act comprised of Jared Cowen(Guitar), Jager Soss(Drums) and Scooter Reill(Bass) are one of the fastest and technical upcoming bands the scene and are doing big things as of recent. The act even went as far as recording Spinal Tap skits that were projected during their two set performance.
Local heroes Glass Pony got the night kicked off with a fun set with deep improvisation. The band performed one of their newer songs “Upside Down” which is nice addition to their already stacked list of original tunes. They opened their set with a rocking “Origami Soul” and even tossed in another recently new song “Bootstraw” which has a punk/bluegrass vibe to it. Glass Pony even honored Ominous Seapods by performing an improvised version of “BlackBerry Brandy. Check out photos and setlists from both bands performances at The Hollow in Albany, NY below:
