If there is an act that has the “it” factor right now, it is Freekbass and the Bump Assembly. No time for ballads Thursday night as the band brought aggressive funk music to the stage at Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs, NY with Sammi Garrett. Freekbass also just released a brand new single featuring Sammi Garett called “Blood” which the band performed at Putnam Place.  They are touring all weekend in support of the release. Opening the night was local heroes Groovebeats, a group combined of musicians from The Deadbeats and Groovestick. Check out photos from the night and watch Freekbass’ full performance below:
