Gallery: IDLES and Injury Reserve at Roadrunner
IDLES closed out their headlining world tour behind Crawler, their great album from last year, at Boston’s Roadrunner this past week. Frontman Joe Talbot said how it was bittersweet to be ending the tour, but they were happy to get some rest after being able to bring their music to so many people over the past two years. An IDLES show is like no other with not only the crowd moshing and surfing over one another, but the band themselves going into the crowd multiple times during the show. It was a hell of an effort that left everyone with smiles as they left the building. Injury Reserve began the show, and while their albums are fantastic, the live show was a bit rough with much of the crowd unsure of what to make of it. The duo powered through the set, with some of those upfront really getting into it.
