Gem Festival returned for its second year at the Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, NY this year bigger than ever. Bigger acts, more genres and a great attendance created for a successful festival put on Brian Alvarado and company.

This year’s headliners included Philadelphia, PA based Chestnut Grove and hometown heroes The Midnight Revival Band. Other acts included A Band Called E.R.I.E., Brookline, Reese Fulmer and the Carriage House Band, Terralite, The Hauntings, Angelina Valente, Jason Irwin and many more. The 2022 edition of the festival also featured a third stage which was located inside the Rock Hill Bakehouse. There was also at least 20 different vendors offering everything from food, crafts, art and even tattoos.

The Glens Falls Entertainment and Music Festival is truly a special event bringing in music fans outside of the north country and displaying what the city can offer. This festival features something for everyone and gives a platform for genres of music that get left out from other festivals and venues in the area. It is important that Gem Festival exists because it helps showcase alternative, punk and hardcore music culture which in turn helps blossom those sectors.
