Phoebe Bridgers brought her Reunion Tour to The Stone Pony Summer Stage to kick off the week. Her fans are known to be dedicated and some had waited in line since midnight to see the show. The 16 song set was heavy on material from Punisher, her latest album that has truly launched her in to the stratosphere. The visuals behind her and the band all night were fantastic compliments to each of the songs played. The full moon that came out after the sun set seemed to give the show a little extra power. Most sets this tour have had just one encore song, but Phoebe gave the audience a surprise by covering a little known local act, Bruce Springsteen, with “Stolen Car” off The River before ending the show with “Waiting Room”. Claud opened the show with an energetic set that the crowd was all in for. The three piece band’s roughly 45 minute set was the perfect beginning to the night.
