Albany, NY’s Alive at Five concert series kicked off last night with a crowd ready for outdoor live music. Week 1 was punk week featuring State Champs and Young Culture. State Champs, originally from the Capital Region have become one of the most successful pop-punk bands in the modern era playing headlining shows all over the United States and beyond. Young Culture also based out of the area is another pop-punk band making waves in the scenes being one of the fastest rising acts in a while.

With both bands being hometown acts the crowd was alive and ready to crowd surf. What made this Alive at Five great was also the amount of out of town fans that came out from the show. From New Jersey to Pennsylvania, pop-punk fans flocked for an opportunity to see State Champs all for free!
