Squid finished up their Spring US tour in Boston at Brighton Music Hall this past weekend. The 5 piece played a thrilling 75 minutes of non-stop post punk glory to a crowd that constantly wanted even more. It’s rare for moshing and crowd surfing to take place at this venue, but the sold out room did both and truly gave the sense of a celebration taking place. Squid can really let loose live too, with some of the songs getting lost in a psychedelic jam that just make your jaw drop. Deliluh opened the show with a quick set of wild droning and ambient sounds that was the perfect table setter for Squid. They have an album coming out in May and it should be pretty great.
