Tame Impala’s current Slow Rush 2022 tour rolled into Boston midweek and had a capacity crowd going so wild that at time Kevin Parker even had to pause the show to take it all in. Fitted with an absolutely mesmerizing light show, the 16 song set and 2 song encore had everyone on their feet all night, enthusiastically singing and dancing second. The band took a few songs out well past their studio confines and tore into them as lazers and the giant moving circle above them created a Pink Floyd-esque display of psychedelia. Junglepussy opened the show with the perfect amount of energy to get a crowd going. She moved through her set with an ease that shows she might be ready in a few years to have a crowd this size singing every lyric back to her.
