Joe Russo’s Almost Dead is making the jump to amphitheaters this summer making their debut at the iconic Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY. For those unfamiliar with the band, they are today’s premiere Grateful Dead cover band bringing new elements with a high-energy pace. The group is a supergroup of musicians from bands including Ween, Furthur, Billy & The Kids and more.

The performance will take place on Thursday, August 25th followed by a two night run a Leader Bank Pavilion August 26-27. In 2022, it is incredible to see bands who have put in their time and effort make it up the ranks and growing like never before. The jam-scene is always constantly changing and it seemed for a while that acts could only grow so big. Well that is not the case anymore. With bands like Goose and JRAD reaching new heights, there is no reason they cannot eventually live on the same platform as Phish or Dead and Company.
