On March 5th Slash ft. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators hit the beautiful theater at the Del Lago Casino in Waterloo NY, for a much anticipated sold out show supporting their new album “4”

Plush started the evening with renewed and endless energy, having just come off another tour opening for Evanescence and Halestorm and Daughtry. The impressive young band is continuously evolving musically and the exposure to large audiences and venues have helped them grow together and perform more cohesively. As Moriah Formica, Brooke Colucci, Bella Perron and Ashley Suppa played, the audience cheered and sang along to their original hit songs, such as “Hate” and “Better Off Alone,” as well as the classic Heart covers they are well known for.

Slash ft. Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators (SMKC) are a concert-goer’s dream come true by bringing together a colossus of rock music, one of the best vocalists of all times, and a group of fantastic musicians and entertainers (Todd Kerns – bass, Brent Fitz – drums, and Frank Sidoris – guitar). The crowd wished to see Slash most of all, but when not wowing the audience with soulful solos, Slash was quiet on stage. Todd “Dammit” Kearns, on the other hand, was not! He’s one of the most energetic bass players out there, pumping up the crowd at any given opportunity. An accomplished vocalist, he took the lead on a couple of the songs. Myles Kennedy brought otherworldly vocals into the mix, with an exquisite storytelling talent that came across best on slower songs such as the Elton John cover, Anastasia, or The One You Love is Gone. His phenomenal vocals seemed contrasted by his relaxed, casual, attitude. SMKC will continue “The River is Rising” tour through March.
