When The Beths tour was postponed by a few weeks they were moved to a bigger room in downtown Boston and they definitely brought the crowd with them. Dedicating the show and various songs to a number of different things, including the coat check, the lions all over the room, and neon signs, the band got to show their humorous side. On the music side of things they had the crowd dancing and singing along to almost the entire set. As they’ve been on tour for a bit now on this run, the whole set felt like a well oiled machine with the foursome not letting their foot off the gas the whole time. The five piece Atlanta based Lunar Vacation opened the show and won the fairly large amount of the crowd over almost instantaneously. It’s always fun to watch an opener take over a crowd who may have only come for the headliner and get raucous ovations after multiple songs.
