Greg Bell Celebrates 30th Anniversary of Promoting With Month Long Concert Lineup

Over the last 30 years, Greg Bell has been one of the most important figures in the Capital Region music scene and beyond. This year he will be celebrating his successful promoting career with a stacked lineup of concerts all month long in March and April.

The concert lineup kicks off with Eastbound Jesus, Glass Pony and Wreckloose playing at The Cohoes Music Hall in Cohoes, NY on March 25th. On April 9th, The Sharks will be joined by Johnny Rabb and the Jailhouse Rockers at The Hollow in Albany, NY on April 9th. For the finale, Rob Derhak, Vinnie Amico and Al Achnier of moe. will play as DAS Trio along with The Seapods, Conehead Buddha and Dr. Jah and the Love Prophets at Empire Live in Albany, NY on April 23rd.

His career took off in March 1992 when he set up a MotherJudge show at the Victory Cafe in Downtown Albany, NY with the help of Dale Metzger. After a year into promoting, Bell joined forces with Jeff Guthrie to form Guthrie Bell Productions. While Guthrie left after a few years of working in the industry, Bell continued their legacy by keeping the name we all know today. At the beginning of this year, Bell joined forces with Kim Neaton to continue bringing the best live acts into the Capital Region for another 30 years.
