CHAI stormed The Sinclair on Friday night for their Boston debut and had the entire crowd chanting for more even after the encore. The music moved between electronica and punk rock all night and finally a mix of the two. The four women who make up the band, Mana, Kana, Yuuki, and Yuna, are all energetic and never stop moving on stage providing the audience with one of the best shows they will see all year. They are currently on tour behind their excellent third album Wink that was released last May. Opening was the South Korean artist Su Lee who played a great opening set full of dancey vibes. This is her first tour ever and she used to live in Boston so she told the crowd it had to be special. The ovation she got at the end of her set definitely made sure she knew how much she was appreciated.
