Chestnut Release Music Video For “I Know Somebody”

Philadelphia, PA based Chestnut Grove have released a new music video for their song “I Know Somebody.” The song is from their latest album The Album which came out in 2021.

The music video is very emotional to say the least and pulls your heart-strings. The video shows a woman grieving over the loss over someone is dear to her and can’t handle seeing pictures on the wall/watching home videos of times in her past. She stores all her sentimental items away and then is able to overcome the overwhelming feeling she started with and now looks back to the past. The story is very relatable to anyone who may have lost a love one at some point in their life.

Aside from the cinematic quality, the story is very well done. The video was put together by director Eric Campbell and producer Hunter Jones among a handful of other creatives. Drummer/Singer James Daniels talked about the new music video stating:

“John Tyler our guitar player wrote this song. Usually Dee and do write a lot of the material but John really took control on this one. He wrote all the chords melody and lyrics. I am not John but I am pretty sure he was reflecting on his parents divorce from when he was a kid. The video focuses more on losing someone you loved. The feelings and themes are universal for anyone listening to the song or watching the video. We all know Somebody who loves us and we all love somebody. I think that’s what really matters in this song.”
