The Wombats brought their 2022 tour to Boston’s House of Blues on Wednesday night with a 20 song setlist that had fans screaming from the moment the lights went down until the last note of “Turn”. There’s was plenty of great banter between songs from the guys, including an impromptu singing of “Happy Birthday” to a member of the audience. Live music is still in it’s initial stages of coming back and The Wombats thanked the audience numerous times for being at the show considering how weird everything still is. It’s wild that next year they will be celebrating their 20th anniversary of being a band. Club House opened the show with a quick set of songs and was a perfect table setter for the rest of the evening. The packed room gave the band a lot of love and Club House thanked them for coming early to check them out.
