Death Kings have announced that they will be going on a Northeastern run late for late January 2022 playing official Umphrey’s McGee pre and after parties. For those who don’t know of the band, they are a super-trio comprised of Mike Gantzer(Aqueous), Ryan Stasik(Umphrey’s McGee) and Mike Carubba(Turkuaz) and NO they are not a jam band.
It is comfortable to say that they are punk/metal act with a thrashy sound with elements of Dave Mustaine sounding solos and “Slayerish” harmonies that would put a black-tooth grin on Jeff Hanneman’s face. The run launches January 19th at Buffalo Iron Work’s in Buffalo, NY followed by a show at Westcott Theater in Syracuse, NY on January 21st.
On January 22nd, Death Kings make their way to the brand new Empire Underground in Albany, NY for an Umphrey’s McGee which is pretty much right across the Palace Theatre! Their last announced performance is set to take place February 11th at Brighton Music Hall in Boston, MA. Click here to purchase tickets and to learn more about Death Kings.
