Gallery: Hiss Golden Messenger and Rosali at The Sinclair 12.3.21
Hiss Golden Messengers pulled in to Boston on Friday night and tore the roof down of The Sinclair over 17 songs. The band was in fine form, stretching out songs to well over there normal lengths, with “Like a Mirror Loves a Hammer” channeling mid 70’s Grateful Dead bliss. MC Taylor let the crowd know throughout the night how special and meaningful it was to be back on stage in front of people after all of the time off. Opener Rosali, who played a fantastic duo set to kick things off, came out for a cover of her own song “Waited All Day” near the end of the set. They encored with “Bird Song” and considering how much jamming the band did during their set, it felt appropriate to end the night on a Grateful Dead cover.
