Blue Star Radiation Performs Two Explosive Sets at Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs, NY

Blue Star Radiation made their debut this this week as a fresh new super-group featuring Rob Derhak(moe.), Vinnie Amico(moe.), Tim Palmeri(Kung Fu) and Nate Wilson making stops across the northeast for a 4 date run. On Saturday, the fresh new group performed at Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Opening up for them was Two Seas in a Pod, an acoustic Onimous Seapods side project which featured a stand-out version of “Blackberry Brandy” to close out their set. Blue Star Radiation while meaning business the second they stepped on the stage, also had seemed to have a great time collectively with joy on all of the members faces. Everything was clicking for the group which led to exploratory jams.

Blue Star Radiation played a wide array of original songs from each of their main projects including a couple moe. tunes such as “Blue Jeans Pizza” and “Mar De Ma.” They played two sets with stellar covers throughout the set. One of the many highlights of the night was Blue Star Radiation closing out their second set with Santana’s “Black Magic Women” Check out photo Two Seas and a Pod and Blue Star Radiation in our gallery below:
