GALLERY: Osees Obliterate The Sinclair In Cambridge, MA
Osees brought their current tour to Boston on Wednesday night to a sold out crowd that was ready to let loose. From the opening notes to John Dwyer saying thank you and good night, the crowd moshed, danced, and headbanged for an hour and a half straight. The band covered music from 11 of their albums and you couldn’t ask more of them. The room was hot and sweaty, yet people tried to keep their masks on their face, though it was hard to in the constant mosh pit. It’s always amazing seeing these guys live and hopefully they come back around next year.
Mr. Elevator started the evening with a spacey set of music that was the perfect appetizer for Osees. Loops, keys, hard hitting drums, and some psychedelic vocals made the crowd pay attention and not just stand their waiting the headliner. It’s evenings like this that make you thankful that live music is back.
