No Fun: A New Live Music Venue and Bar Set to Open in Troy, NY

August Rosa, owner of the Pint Sized bar and bottle shops (locations in Albany and Saratoga Springs), announced today that the business will be opening a new location in Troy. What has people most excited is the very important addition of a live music venue at the space, called No Fun.

No Fun will take over the old Psychedelicatessen space at 277 River Street in Troy. The popular deli has been closed since 2019.

Described as “an open floor plan arts space that will host live music and other events (think house show or DIY space vibe),” No Fun will feature an attached Pint Sized bar, which will provide good beers for the soon-to-be-scheduled shows. A sizable outdoor patio is also in the works.

The space is estimated to open in November and it can’t come a moment to soon for one of the only Capital Region cities that has been seriously lacking in a consistent and accessible indoor live music space.

We’ll be keeping a close eye out for this one!
