Comedian Norm Macdonald Dies at Age 61
According to NBC News, comedian Norm Macdonald has passed away at the age of 61. Macdonald has been privately battling cancer for the past 10 years and chose to keep quiet because he did not want people to look at him differently.
Macdonald made his introduction to the world after joining Saturday Night Live in 1993 impersonating the likes of David Letterman Bob Dole and most famously Burt Reynolds. After his time at “SNL,” he received his own sitcom called “The Norm Show” which lasted a couple years. He has also starred in many movies including Billy Madison, The Animal, Doctor Dolittle and even the character Death in Family Guy.
