The Psychedelic Furs Share “Evergreen” Before Kicking Off Tour Sept. 15

British post-punk band The Psychedelic Furs dropped a new song this past week ahead of their Made of Rain tour, kicking off Sept. 15 in Indianapolis. The new release, “Evergreen”, was recorded during the same session as their recent Made of Rain album.

The acclaimed project has become the band’s second-highest charting UK album of their career and has been featured in Best Albums roundup in Mojo, Uncut, Classic Pop, ABC’s “Good Morning America,” and Vive Le Rock.

Dubbed “a song about memory and the passing of time” by vocalist Richard Butler, the new song has been called an “icy, sparse new wave song that doesn’t skimp on the gothic grandeur.” (Stereogum)
