Goose’s 8th Annual “Goosemas” Holiday Show to Be Held at Mohegan Sun Arena
Connecticut rock band Goose has announced that they will be moving ahead with their eighth annual holiday show this year. And in a special “Goosemas” treat, it will be the band’s very first arena show. Goosemas takes place Dec. 18 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncansville, CT.
Last year, due to COVID-19, Goose took it to the roof of Rockefeller Center, live streaming exclusively on Twitch. The virtual concert drew over 60,000 viewers worldwide and raised $45,000 for Conscious Alliance and Save Our Stages.
The band feels honored that so many have come out for the holiday show each year, taking the tradition–which began with humble roots in the basement of a Norwalk, CT music studio–to the big stage.
“We’re so stoked to host Goosemas back home in Connecticut. It has truly been incredible to see how the event has grown over the past few years, and we can’t wait to do it again in front of a live audience,” guitarist/vocalist Rick Mitarotonda says.
The arena extravaganza will also be the last show of the band’s 19-date national run. Half of the tour already sold out.
