New Orleans Rock Band Silver Synthetic Announces Fall Tour
New Orleans rock band Silver Synthetic will head out for a fall headlining run on their eponymous debut album, released this April via Jack White’s Third Man Records.
Comprised of members from hometown bands Bottomfeeders and JEFF the Brotherhood back in 2018, Silver Synthetic has already been critically acclaimed for their psych/garage rock stylings.
Their four-track EP Out Of The Darkness (also via Third Man) has been celebrated by outlets such as SPIN, BrooklynVegan, CLASH, Glide and Consequence of Sound. They’ve praised singles from the new LP, like “Around The Bend,” for being “perfect for being blasted full volume during a road trip” which is just what we like to hear.
“There is a solid sense of history to these songs, but they are indebted to nobody and completely original. Excited for the world them,” Third Man Records co-founder Ben Swank told SPIN.
Given the excitement surrounding the Silver Synthetic, it goes to show that when you have the feeling to start something new, you better go for it.
