Super Dark Collective’s Monday Night Concert Series Kicks Off July 12th
“518 punks and freaks” can breathe a deep, deep sigh of relief because Super Dark Mondays are back, baby.
The free, weekly concert series for those 21 and older–organized by the local Super Dark Collective–is a local favorite given their eclectic and exciting regular lineup of shows at Desperate Annie’s in Saratoga Springs. Each Monday at 9:30 p.m., local bands and out of staters alike bring experimental, hardcore, metal, sludge, electronic, noise, shoegaze and more to Caroline Street’s hotspot.
Get ready to get loud. Here’s what they have in store so far:
July 12th: Laveda (shoegaze/bedroom-pop from Troy)
Architrave (darkwave/electro from Ballston Spa)
July 19th: Dirt Church (sludge/doom from Albany)
Male Patterns (hardcore punk from Albany)
July 26th: Machine Revival (indie-pop from Troy)
No More Death Stars (indie/pop-punk from Glens Falls)
Follow along @superdarkcollective on Instagram and Facebook as well as Super Dark’s calendar for shows in August and beyond. As of now, they have not yet been announced.
You can also tune in to Super Dark radio at WSPN 91.1 FM every Thursday from noon to 2 p.m. for more of the collective’s favorite sounds and new finds.
