Albany, NY’s Alive at Five Concert Series Returns June 30th To Jennings Landing

Albany, NY Mayor Kathy Sheehan has announced the city’s free summer concert series, Alive at Five, will go on in front of a full-capacity live audience yet again.

The first three shows of their 2021 summer concert series streamed online were performed in front of a limited audience at the Palace Theatre and Dutch Apple cruise line. This year, we at Mirth Films have partnered up with the City of Albany, NY  to bring you all five concerts virtually and will be streamed each Thursday of the following week via the Albany Events YouTube and Facebook pages.

The following bands (from classic ’70s reggae to “Cherry Pie” famed glam rock) return to the Jennings Landing amphitheater at the Corning Preserve this Wednesday, June 30 from 5-8 p.m.:

June 30 -Reggae Night (Streams July 8)
July 7 – WEQX Night (Streams July 15)
July 14 – Folk/Pop Night (Streams July 22)
July 21 – Funk Night (Streams July 29)
July 28- Classic Rock Night (Streams Aug. 5*)
Warrant and Joe Mansman and The Midnight Revival Band (*Warrant will not be aired virtually. Only Mansman and The Midnight Revival Band will air on Aug. 5)

Starting July 8, the shows will also be screened at Albany bars and restaurants as part of the city’s Restart Albany promotion. Participating businesses have yet to be announced.
