Albany’s Hate Club Releases New Single “Eat More” Ahead of Debut Album

Its been two years since Albany’s emo crew Hate Club dropped their three-track EP A Clear Mistake. Today, the band released a new single, “Eat More”, on Brooklyn Vegan. The track precedes their debut studio album, Tightly Wound, which is set to release Aug. 13.

Its exciting to see so many more new projects coming out of the area and it doesn’t sound like Tightly Wound will disappoint. As a preview to the full-length, indie and emo rock fans will find comfort in the energy of “Eat More.” It feels familiar in sound and subject. It trudges on as vocalists Noah Bondy and Audrey Goodemote sing about feeling lost, alone, distant, helpless–even feeling nothing at all.

With “Eat More”, Hate Club hones in the sound they’ve been developing since 2017 and nail down exactly how we’ve all been feeling for the past year (if not more.)

Listen to the new track over at Brooklyn Vegan.
