GEM Fest 2021 Set to Take Place In Glens Falls on August 7th
GEM Fest, the local art and music festival of Glens Falls presented by Art in the Public Eye, will return Aug. 7 at The Shirt Factory. From 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., the arts venue will host two music stages, live painters, vendors, food trucks, artist tents, a local beer tent and more.
The vendor and artist booth alley on Cooper St. will have no fee for entry. Check out live painting by Corey Pitkin, Hannah Williams and Alexandra Lindsay and peruse featured artist displays. A $12 admission will get you to the courtyard featuring the stages and beer tent. Don’t miss performances by The Midnight Revival Band, Pillowhead, Simple Sin, Malicious Dee, Peter Annello Trio, The Hauntings, Terrallite, Grape Juice, Erin Powers, We’re History, Ragged Company, Brain Medicine, Seize Atlantis, 42nd Draft and OD w/ Friends. You might just find some new music you love.
If you’re interested in attending, its best to move quickly. GEM Fest has capped the venue’s paid guest capacity at 350 tickets due to COVID-19 social distancing restrictions. Get yours here.
It should also be noted that masks are mandatory for all guests who are not yet vaccinated. No one will be asking for your vaccination card, but organizers ask that attendees please respect their honor system. Flags will also be placed throughout the general admission courtyard. Feel free to stand near the markers in order to make space and encourage social distancing outside of your own group.
