Willie Nelson & Family “On the Road Again” with the Outlaw Music Festival Tour 2021
Willie Nelson will bring his family band and a star-studded lineup of friends along for his 14-city Outlaw Music Festival tour starting Aug. 22 in Austin, TX and wrapping in Wheatland, CA on Oct. 24.
The kick-off show in Austin will include Chris Stapleton, Ryan Bingham and Yola. Other exciting acts to join Nelson’s run include Lucinda Williams, Sturgill Simpson, The Avett Brothers, Nathaniel Ratecliff & the Night Sweats, Gov’t Mule, Margo Price, Kathleen Edwards, Ida Mae and more.
Specific details on the acts performing with Nelson and his band each night can be found here. He’ll be headed to Saratoga Performing Arts Center Sept. 12, for example, with Sturgill Simpson, Gov’t Mule and Margo Price.
“The Outlaw Music Festival Tour has always been about family and friends coming together for a great day of music and fun, Willie Nelson says of the upcoming tour.”
“With the amazing group of artists joining us, this year promises to be our most special Outlaw Tour to date. I just can’t wait to get back on the road again.”
Born from a 2016 sold-out show in Scranton, PA, the now-major national touring franchise has previously included friends of Nelson such as Robert Plant, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Eric Church, Bonnie Raitt and Sheryl Crow.
Give yourself some time to explore while you’re there, too. Each concert will also include an Outlaw Village, or curated space featuring local artisans and their wares.
