Foo Fighters Kick Off The New Year with “No Son of Mine”

American rock band Foo Fighters have kicked off the new year with a brand new song titled “No Son of Mine.” This song is part of their upcoming albumĀ Medicine at Midnight which the band finished recording nearly a year ago. Before COVID, Foo Fighters plan was to release an album and go on a 25th anniversary world tour but plans have been put on hold.
In a letter to their fans about the song, the band stated “As we say goodbye(a f*** ton) to 2020, andĀ flip the calendar pace to 2021, let’s ring in the new year with a new rocker “No Son OF Mine.” Pour a drink, turn it up, close your eyes and imagine that festival field building up to this.” This year, Foo Fighters have been active in helping push the Save Our Stages Act into motion. The act was put together to help keep independent venues afloat throughout the pandemic and provide money to people who work in the entertainment industry. Foo Fighters were also featured in Georgia Comes Alive, a one day virtual music festival to help people encourage to go out in vote in Georgia’s runoff elections.
