The Gambler, Kenny Rogers Passes Away at 81
Country music legend Kenny Rogers has passed away at the age of 81. The announcement was made via twitter by his family. The icon died from natural causes while under the care of hospice. Rogers publicist stated “Kenny Rogers left an indelible mark on the history of American music. His songs have endeared music lovers and touched the lives of millions around the world.” The country star had 24 number number one hits, sold more than 50 million albums in the United States and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2013. Just a few of his many hits included “The Gambler.” “Lady” and “We’ve Got Tonight.” We at Mirth Films are deeply saddened to learn the death of Rogers. The singer not only taught us when we should hold them, but even when we should fold em’. That is of course if you decide to walk away or if you should run. Thank you Kenny.
