Smashing Pumpkins Share 2020 Spring Tour Dates
Grunge rockers Smashing Pumpkins are hitting the road this spring calling their tour the “Rock Invasion.” The tour will be short one playing 9 dates throughout southern United States. Frontman Billy Corgan, stated via Loudwire, “It’s been a good while since we’ve played a straight up, bare knuckle rock and roll show; one that avoids little in the way of raw power. So note: this tour won’t be for those faint of heart, and will certainly echo the dynamic modes in which we built our live reputation.”
The tour kicks off at The Louisville Palace on April 23rd in Louisville, KY followed by a date at 20 Monroe Live in Grand Rapids, MI on April 25th. The group will make two festival appearances including Beale Street Music Festival on May 1st in Memphis, TN and Shaky Knees Music Festival in Atlanta, GA on May 2nd. The “Rock Invasion” meets its end on May 7th at Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts in Greensboro, NC. For ticketing information on Smashing Pumpkins spring tour, please click here.
