Primus Announces ‘A Tribute to Kings’ Summer Tour to Honor Rush
Primus is hitting the road this summer to pay homage to Rush naming their tour ‘A Tribute to Kings.’ Joining Les Claypool and his brigade will be Wolfmother, The Sword and Battles. At each one of their performances, the three piece band will perform Rush’sĀ A Farewell to Kings album in its entirety.
Primus’ 2020 summer tour kicks off on May 26th in Irving, TX at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory followed by two more dates in Texas on May 27th in Houston, TX and Austin, TX on May 29th. The nearly 50 date tour makes a pit stop at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, TN on June 12th and eventually makes its way to the northeast on June 17th for a performance at the Beacon Theatre in New York, NY on June 17th. On June 19th, Primus heads to Philadelphia, PA for a night at The Met Philadelphia continued by a show at the The Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, NJ on June 20th. The tour then makes appearance at Midway Lawn at Champlain Valley Expo in Essex Junction, VT on June 21st and June 23rd in Boston, MA at Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, February 21st at 10am local time. See below for full list of tour dates:
