Rush’s Neil Peart Passes Away at 67

Legendary rock drummer Neil Peart of Rush has passed away at the age of 67. The cause of his death was brain cancer which he’d been battling for 3 and a half years. Peart is considered to be one of the drummers of all time and is responsible for influencing drummers across the world. He joined the Canadian rock band Rush in July of 1974 and helped create nearly 20 albums along the way. Rush were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 and stopped touring in 2018. Peart and the rest of Rush have one of the most dedicated fanbase sold millions of records across the globe.
