According to the New York Times, ticketing service company StubHub had just been purchased by Viagogo, a Swiss ticketing company. The purchase was made for over four billion dollars. The deal will be complete in early 2020 and wasn’t the first time the company was purchased. Back in 2007, StubHub was purchased by Ebay for about 300 million dollars. In a statement made to the times, Eric Baker the co-founder of the company stated “When you put the two together, you’re giving fans access to almost any ticket anywhere, in any language and in any currency.” For more information, stay tuned
